WASHINGTON – The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) has appointed Jill Rickard as Regional Vice President, State Relations. She will report to ACLI Senior Vice President, State Relations Leah Walters.

“Jill has a wealth of knowledge about the life insurance industry and the financial and retirement security protection it provides consumers,” said Walters. “She is an invaluable addition to our team and our efforts to help all Americans secure their financial futures.”

Prior to joining ACLI, Rickard was Director of Policy for the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation. Among other duties, she served as co-chair of the department’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee. Before joining the Vermont department, Rickard worked for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP.

Rickard has a Juris Doctor from Columbia University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
