Aflac contributed $2 million for the Global Center for Medical Innovation, which uses 3D printing to help support medical device shortages, including ventilators and protective masks. It also contributed $3 million for Direct Relief, which provides personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to #COVID19. To assist #COVID19 relief efforts across the globe, AIG is making an inaugural $5 million contribution to its foundation. Earlier, it donated personal protective equipment to health workers and food to homeless shelters & soup kitchens. #MeetingTheMoment

As needs rise during the #COVID19 pandemic, life insurers are there to provide support. @Allianzlife donated $150K to Twin Cities-area food shelves & made a $20K emergency grant to support Metro Meals on Wheels. Together with RiverSource Insurance, Ameriprise Financial is allocating an additional $100,000 in #COVID19 relief to Feeding America and $25,000 to Global FoodBanking Network, building on its longstanding commitment to helping end hunger. Life insurers help people through difficult times. @Assurity is donating $30,000 to the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools #COVID19 Crisis Response Fund & more than 2,000 masks and respirators to local health facilities. #MeetingTheMoment

As the impacts of #COVID19 evolve, Boston Mutual Life remains committed to providing peace of mind and acting in the best interests of its employees and those it serves. Equitable is supporting educators and food banks in this time of crisis. Equitable Foundation is committing $1 million to various COVID-19 relief programs including numerous food banks as well as the new Keep Kids Learning program which enables teachers to help facilitate remote learning. #MeetingTheMoment

To help small, minority-owned businesses, EquiTrust Life Insurance Co. will provide $100 million in capital to fund loans through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program. #MeetingTheMoment

@mifarmbureauins partnered with the Agent Charitable Fund & @michfarmbureau to provide 1 million meals to MI families during the #COVID-19 pandemic. All donations were matched up to $50,000. #MeetingTheMoment

Global Atlantic is supporting our communities in the fight against food insecurity related to the #COVID19 pandemic, including the Food Bank of NYC, Project Bread in Boston, and the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry Network. Global Atlantic employees will allocate an additional $400,000 in company gifts to support those needing a safe place in these times, such as local homeless shelters and domestic violence organizations. In all, it has set aside $1 million to support its communities this year, through direct contributions & its employee matching gift program. To support its employees, it is offering an additional two weeks paid time off to help them manage the burdens & challenges of the current environment. Life insurers provide critical support when our communities need it most. @GuardianLife is partnering with veteran-led disaster response organization @TeamRubicon to mobilize distribution of the #COVID19 vaccine to under-resourced communities nationwide. Through a $1 million grant and volunteer participation, Guardian Life’s partnership will help enable Team Rubicon’s goal to ramp-up to 500 vaccination sites across America. #MeetingTheMoment

MassMutual launched HealthBridge to offer $3 billion in free term life insurance coverage to eligible frontline healthcare workers battling #COVID19, first in MA & CT, then expanded nationwide. It donated $1.5 million in support for #COVID19 response funds in MA & donated masks & protection equipment to first responders and hospitals. Also, the MassMutual Foundation committed grants to 34 nonprofits across the nation. #MeetingTheMoment

@MetLife is offering free housing at the InterContinental Times Square hotel in New York City for nurses, doctors and other medical workers. @MetLife Foundation is pledging $25 million to the global response to #COVID19. Grants will support communities impacted by the pandemic in all regions where MetLife operates, and will address both short- and longer-term relief efforts. #MeetingTheMoment

To help meet immediate needs in member communities impacted by #COVID19, @ModernWoodmen introduced a relief program giving its chapters & youth service clubs access to up to $2.5M for direct monetary donations to local organizations. #MeetingTheMoment

Mutual of Omaha has donated more than $576,000 to COVID-19 relief efforts and partnered with the Omaha Community Foundation to establish a COVID-19 Response Fund. In addition, the Mutual of Omaha Foundation expedited its grant donation cycle, making $1.34 million immediately available for Omaha-area nonprofit organizations to respond to their most prevalent needs. For our customers, we’re closely following state-by-state guidance and working to ensure we’re making payment alternatives. The New York Life Foundation is contributing $25 million to help launch the Brave of Heart Fund, which will provide support to families of healthcare workers and volunteers nationwide – including those who lose their lives to #COVID19. The Foundation will also match dollar-for-dollar the first $25 million in individual donations. It has already pledged more than $5 million to support local and national nonprofits in coronavirus-related efforts, including the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Response Fund, CDC Foundation, First Book, and Business Roundtable’s Project HOPE. #MeetingTheMoment

Principal Financial and the Principal Foundation launched respective community-based #COVID19 relief efforts to directly assist those experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic by providing meals, family activity kits, and direct payments to those impacted in more than 30 locations around the world. Together with previous support Principal announced for its customers, the efforts are expected to total more than $25 million. #MeetingTheMoment

Protective Life Foundation pledged $1 million to #COVID19 relief efforts, supporting small businesses, research, food banks, childcare for essential workers & more in the communities it serves. The Swiss Re Group pledged to donate CHF (Swiss francs) 5 million to support the needs of people and communities affected by the #COVID-19 pandemic around the world. Swiss Re Foundation will contribute CHF 1 million each to the International Committee of the Red Cross and to Doctors Without Borders. It will also donate CHF 3 million to other Swiss Re Foundation partners for relief efforts. #MeetingTheMoment

Life insurers #LiveGenerously by supporting charitable giving to aid communities impacted by #COVID19. Together with @Thrivent’s matching gift campaign, over 45,000 Thrivent members along with their friends, family and neighbors generated $12.5 million of much-needed financial support for over 17,000 for non-profits organizations and churches around the country. #MeetingTheMoment

Life insurers are committed to helping those in need. TIAA’s employees raised funds to donate thousands of protective masks and supplies to medical staff on the front-line of the #COVID19 pandemic. @USAA is offering special payment accommodations for policyholders impacted by #COVID19. In addition, USAA donated $2.1 million directed to local nonprofits in USAA communities including in San Antonio, Phoenix, Tampa, Colorado Springs, Dallas/Fort Worth and southeastern Virginia; and committed $2.3 million to military-focused and national nonprofits to support America's response to the pandemic. #MeetingTheMoment
