GTIS Partners is a global real estate investment manager founded in 2005 by Tom Shapiro, a former senior managing director at Tishman Speyer. The firm invests across equity and debt strategies, pursuing real estate opportunities in major markets worldwide. Originally established through a joint venture with GoldenTree Asset Management, GTIS became fully independent in 2010 and has been registered as a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission–registered investment adviser since 2011. Over its 20-year history, GTIS has demonstrated consistent growth and resilience, managing approximately $4.7 billion in assets as of Q2 2025.
