Scott Dixon

Scott Dixon is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). He is proficient at providing financial management and reporting excellence to ensure effective strategic decision making. He is highly experienced at leading the internal retirement plan committee to oversee benefit plans and focus on financial wellness for all beneficiaries while being renown for collaborating with the IT Director and C-Suite to achieve best-in-class infrastructure and security to continually mitigate risk.

Scott was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2024, having served ACLI for 20 years as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining ACLI, he spent 10 years in public accounting involved in auditing, taxation, software consulting and financial management for Trade Associations and For-Profit companies.

Scott is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
