Jessica Mancari

As Senior Vice President, Public Affairs at the American Council of Life Insurers, Jessica leads an award-winning team spanning strategic communications, grassroots advocacy, and executive thought leadership. Her work has helped shape some of the most consequential public affairs efforts in the industry, including campaigns that led to the signing of landmark retirement legislation, expanded paid family leave options, and strengthened access to financial protection for millions of American families.

Jessica is known for creating campaigns that tell powerful human stories and rally people around a shared vision. She’s led initiatives that have earned national recognition for excellence in public affairs and grassroots engagement, and she was honored with three Cicero Speechwriting Award for her executive communication work.

Earlier in her career, Jessica directed thought leadership programs for Fortune 100 clients and served as Communications Director for a Member of Congress, where her innovative digital strategy was recognized as best-in-class by the Congressional Management Foundation.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jessica is deeply interested in how leadership and storytelling intersect to build trust and vision inside organizations and out. She holds an M.A. in Communication from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Communication from Lee University. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and two children.
