Federal Legislative Analyst

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join the Federal Relations department. The Legislative Analyst will serve as the primary information contact regarding federal legislation and meetings for the Federal Relations lobbyists on assigned issues. Will also serve as a liaison with the Public Affairs and Grassroots areas on assigned issues and perform research duties in support of the overall federal affairs efforts in the organization. State Relations Team

ACLI is searching for two dynamic individuals to join its State Relations team:

Regional Vice President (Midwest region)
This person will assume responsibility for all legislative, regulatory and political matters affecting member companies and their products, services and operations in assigned states in the Midwest region including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. In carrying out these responsibilities, achieve recognition by public policymakers as chief advocate for interests of life insurers in assigned states. Minimum of 5-10 years of legislative, regulatory and/or lobbying experience and knowledge and understanding of state government required. Read more (PDF).

Legislative Director (Pacific region)
Under direction of supervisor, assume responsibility for legislative, regulatory and political matters affecting member companies and their products, services and operations in the Pacific region in states including California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. In carrying out these responsibilities, achieve recognition by public policymakers as chief advocate for interests of life insurers in assigned states. Minimum of 2-5 years of legislative, regulatory and/or lobbying experience and knowledge and understanding of state government required. Read more (PDF).

Counsel 2022

The American Council of Life Insurers is currently seeking an attorney to manage policy development and implementation of assigned legislative and regulatory issues affecting the life insurance industry. Position also staffs assigned committees/task forces, provides technical and legal support to ACLI staff and member companies.
