WASHINGTON – The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) today welcomed the inaugural members of its Rising Leader program. The 25 participants from ACLI member companies will develop their knowledge of the work the industry does through ACLI to help more families and individuals build greater financial certainty through all stages of life.
The program will also create opportunities for professional and leadership development, helping participants thrive in the next stage of their careers.
“We are excited for this inaugural class of Rising Leaders to start learning how to advocate for public policies that benefit the 90 million families relying on us for financial protection and retirement security,” said ACLI President and CEO Susan Neely. “Through this program, we are helping prepare the next generation of professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to lead the life insurance industry in the future.”
The program will officially begin in September at ACLI’s Annual Conference. Over the course of a year, program participants will attend ACLI meetings and learn about advocacy and consensus building from government relations, policy and public affairs experts.
Graduates of the Rising Leader program will be recognized at the ACLI Annual Conference in September 2024.
