The Insurers International program provides non-U.S.-based life insurance companies the opportunity to affiliate with ACLI and its members.
ACLI leads efforts to expand the presence of the U.S.-based life insurance industry across international boundaries--advocating market access, fair competition, and regulatory efficiency. Members of Insurers International gain access to the leaders, knowledge, and issues driving U.S. insurers into a worldwide market.
Members of Insurers International receive U.S. legislative and regulatory updates and industry news. They may attend committee meetings and receive material as an "interested party." (Voting privileges are exclusive to ACLI members.)
Benefits of membership also include access to product specialists on annuities, pension plans, life, long-term care, and disability income insurance; reinsurance data through ACLI’s Reinsurance Compliance Service and Amicus Curiae Brief Bank; and research and analysis through an annual Life Insurers Fact Book, State Fact Sheets, research findings, and statistical bulletins.
High-level networking opportunities for Insurers International members are available at conferences such as ACLI's Annual Conference, Executive Roundtable, and Financial Investment Roundtable.
Any duly licensed, non U.S.-based life insurance company shall be eligible for participation in the Insurers International Program. Companies otherwise eligible for ACLI membership are not eligible to participate in the Insurers International Program. Download the application (PDF).
