Jill Kozeny serves as Executive Vice President, Public Affairs at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). Kozeny is a member of the executive management team and reports to the President and CEO. Kozeny leads communications, research, grassroots, partnerships, conference development, and thought leadership programs and initiatives to advance policies that build opportunities and expand access to family financial security through all stages of life.
Kozeny came to ACLI after three decades of success on Capitol Hill where she was Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and led policy communications for the Senate Committee on Finance including tax, retirement security, health care, international trade, and government reform policies and oversight. During this time, the Finance Committee led passage of major tax relief, the Medicare prescription drug benefit, an overhaul of pension policies, and numerous international trade agreements, among other bipartisan initiatives.
Kozeny serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the Public Affairs Council and supports the Congressional Management Foundation on its awards selection committee. She is an active volunteer at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. and resides with her family on Capitol Hill.
Kozeny has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
