WASHINGTON – The National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics has announced the recipients of its “2020 Top Lobbyist Award” which included ACLI Executive Vice President, Government Relations, Joyce Meyer.
“Our list includes professionals that saw significant legislative success in 2020, have been innovative in their field this year and are held in high regard by their clients and are individuals who give back to their community through charity or pro bono work,” the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics said in its announcement.
“Joyce is a leader not just as an advocate for the life insurance community,” said ACLI President & CEO Susan Neely. “Her efforts translate into financial and retirement security for more Americans.”
“I’m honored to be a recipient of The National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics' 2020 Top Lobbyist Award. It means a lot to work with such a great team of lobbyists at ACLI and with ACLI member companies. Advocates for our industry are committed to providing financial safety for all Americans. And this award is a reflection of their hard work, too,” Meyer said.
The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) is the leading trade association driving public policy and advocacy on behalf of the life insurance industry. 90 million American families rely on the life insurance industry for financial protection and retirement security.
