WASHINGTON – Cindy Goff has joined the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) as vice president, supplemental benefits & group insurance. She will focus on public policy to help Americans access life, dental, vision and other financial protection products through the workplace and on an individual basis. Goff will report to ACLI Senior Vice President & General Counsel Julie Spiezio.

“Cindy’s extensive experience and expertise will be invaluable to ACLI in our work with state and federal policymakers to ensure consumers can get the financial protection they want and need,” said Spiezio. “We are fortunate to have her on our team.”

Goff has more than 30 years of experience in legislative and regulatory analysis and advocacy for insurance issues. Before joining ACLI, she worked for Aflac on legislative, regulatory and policy matters. Before that she was at EmblemHealth, a New York-based medical carrier. She also has worked for America’s Health Insurance Plans, BioMedix, Inc. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.

Goff received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Minnesota.
