Will Serve as an ACLI Consultant During 2015

Washington, D.C., (January 8, 2015) – Kimberly Olson Dorgan announced today that she will be departing the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) at the end of January 2015.  

"After nearly sixteen years at ACLI, I'm eager to move on to new career opportunities. It has been an honor to work for and represent the life insurance industry all of these years."  Dorgan is the Senior Executive Vice President of Public Policy and in that role manages the Federal Relations and International functions as well as having a senior management role at ACLI.  

ACLI President & CEO Dirk Kempthorne said that he offered, and Ms. Dorgan agreed, to serve ACLI in a consulting capacity during 2015. 

“Kim has had a distinguished career at ACLI,” Governor Kempthorne said. “I respect her decision. In the four years I have worked with her, I have appreciated her professionalism and many talents. She has made significant contributions to the success of ACLI and to the well-being of the industry. She can be proud of her service and accomplishments.”

Ms. Dorgan started her career at ACLI in 1999. Prior to coming to ACLI, Ms. Dorgan was a consultant who represented a number of companies and non-profit organizations. She plans to return to consulting.
