Posted 11/8/19 -- We are currently seeking an assertive professional to join our team as Vice President, Financial Income Security. Responsibilities include: 1) be the department representative and lobby Congress and the Administration on issues (including long-term care, disability income and supplemental insurance) before the Senate Finance and House Ways and Means Committees; 2) coordinate lobbying activities and assist in policy development in concert with ACLI policy staff; 3) give technical, editorial and/or creative support in the development of testimony, policy position and lobbying documents to be used in connection with the ACLI’s legislative priorities. The prospective intern will be collecting ACLI content in PDF format, creating metadata for the content using Excel, and uploading them both to the library management system. Tax Professional

Posted 8/1/19 -- We are seeking a tax professional to join its team. This individual will provide expertise on life insurance company taxation and individual life and annuity taxation. Responsibilities include policy development and implementation, staffing assigned committees/task forces, providing technical support to staff and member companies, monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory proposals and policy trends affecting the industry, identifying and analyzing emerging issues, and assisting in the development of industry policy in their issue areas. Taxes and Retirement Security Intern

Posted 12/4/18 -- The intern program is designed for you to become a part of our team and gain experience working on taxes and retirement security within a trade association. No experience in insurance or financial services is necessary. Interns do not receive salaries, but they are eligible for a transportation subsidy, have access to the on-site gym, and receive occasional invitations to attend various special meetings, receptions, etc. ACLI will support any opportunity an intern has to receive course credits or other benefits through their university for this internship. Internship hours are flexible, with part- and full-time applicants considered. ACLI is considerate of interns’ class times and school holidays. Read more.
