Communications Coordinator

The American Council of Life Insurers is looking for a Communications Coordinator to support our outreach efforts to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of experience in communications/public affairs and is excited about using digital technologies to assist our strategic goals. This position will assist with web and social media campaigns, and promotion plans around industry events. Senior Research Analyst

Posted 5/2/16--ACLI is seeking a Senior Research Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining production of ACLI Investment Bulletins, implementing analytical projects using several external data sources, and developing expertise in issues related to the life insurance industry, regulation, and taxation. This position also involves compiling, verifying, editing and analyzing data collected through company surveys and from third-party databases, working with other Research Analysts on production of research publications, assisting the Vice President and Director of Research on special research projects related to policy and advocacy, and responding to specific research requests from ACLI colleagues, member company senior officers and other member company staff. Legislative Director, Federal Relations

Posted 7/10/15--We are currently seeking an assertive, self-starter to join our team as Legislative Director in the Federal Relations department. Responsibilities include: 1) be the department representative and lobby Congress and the Administration on issues including federal long-term care, reinsurance, disability income, and selected group benefits issues; 2) coordinate lobbying activities and assist in policy development in concert with other technical tax and retirement staff; 3) serve as the primary information contact regarding federal legislation and meetings for member company Washington representatives as well as serve as liaison with ACLI’s Public Affairs, Grassroots and Publishing areas on assigned issues.
