WASHINGTON – The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) honored graduates of its inaugural Rising Leader program today during the ACLI Annual Conference in Chicago. The 24 program participants completed the year-long program that enhanced the skills and knowledge they need to be tomorrow’s industry leaders.
The Rising Leader program offers participants a dynamic experience with a multi-disciplinary network of seasoned industry peers, visibility with ACLI and industry leaders, professional development, and leadership training opportunities.
“The Rising Leader program prepares the next generation of professionals to continue the industry’s mission of helping people access the tools needed for financial and retirement security,” said ACLI President and CEO Susan Neely. “We congratulate this inaugural Rising Leader class on its accomplishments this past year and thank them for their commitment to the industry and its policyholders.”
Rising Leader program participants are employees of member companies and are chosen from a competitive applicant pool. Through the program participants build on core skill sets in leadership development, advocacy, consensus building, and professional development.
