reference library for Congress,
the Library of Congress
today boasts a collection
of more than 144 million
items, including books and
manuscripts, films, maps, and musical recordings. But
beyond the Library’s impressive collection, the building
itself is a work of art created in the style of the Italian
Renaissance. During this tour you will learn about the
building’s architecture, how the collection has evolved,
and the role of the Library today.
