Join us as we go back in time to learn about some of our country’s most beloved monuments and places in history. You will see many of Washington, D.C.’s iconic attractions and learn more about the city’s history and inner workings. Lunch at a local historical site to follow. Cost: $75 per person.

Mount Vernon: George Washington’s Estate

George Washington’s plantation on the banks of the beautiful Potomac River offers a chance to understand America’s first hero and the fascinating world in which he lived. You will have the opportunity to visit the estate, gardens, and farm decorated in the turning colors of fall. Highlights of the visit include a tour inside the mansion, private luncheon at the Mount Vernon Inn, and time for shopping. Cost: $95 per person.

Originally created as a reference library for Congress, the Library of Congress today boasts a collection of more than 144 million items, including books and manuscripts, films, maps, and musical recordings. But beyond the Library’s impressive collection, the building itself is a work of art created in the style of the Italian Renaissance. During this tour you will learn about the building’s architecture, how the collection has evolved, and the role of the Library today. Cost: $65 per person.
