The American Council Of Life Insurers (ACLI) Testifies On H.R. 5840, The Insurance Information Act Of 2008, Before House Financial Services Subcommittee

Washington, D.C. (June 10, 2008) — Stephen Rahn, vice president and associate general counsel, Lincoln Financial Group, testified today on behalf of the American Council of Life Insurers before the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises on the Insurance Information Act of 2008 (H.R. 5840), sponsored by Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-PA), chairman of the panel.

The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association whose 353 member companies account for 93 percent of the life insurance industry’s total assets in the United States, 93 percent of life insurance premiums and 94 percent of annuity considerations.
